Little about myself…
I attended MSU Mankato, where I worked at my college newspaper from 2021-22 as a Staff Photographer and the 2022-23 year as the Photo Editor. In that time, I was awarded eight individual state-level awards for my photojournalism and one joint award with fellow editors. In May of 2023, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Photography.
My professional path expanded as Team Photographer Intern for the Mankato MoonDogs, Multimedia Intern with the Sioux Falls Canaries, and most recently, Photo & Video Intern with the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. These roles gave me the chance to refine both the creative and technical sides of my work while balancing the fast pace of professional sports environments.
During my two seasons with the RedHawks, I produced same-day photo and video content for digital platforms, managed metadata workflows to improve archiving and organization and worked closely with communications staff to maintain brand consistency. Being invited back for a second season meant a great deal, as it reflected the trust placed in my work and reliability. That trust was pushed to a new level during the 2025 American Association All-Star Series, where I was the primary photographer covering the Hall of Fame inductions, the league officials’ dinner, the skills competition, and the All-Star Game itself. It was not easy, but I embraced the responsibility fully because I take pride in carrying every assignment through from start to finish. That experience reinforced for me that I do my best work when the challenges are high, the responsibility is real and the storytelling matters.
I currently reside in southern Minnesota striving to learn daily by absorbing as much as I can, networking with many photographers and improving on and learning tactics to improve my overall capabilities as a photographer and character building as a person. I am a dedicated, hard working, detail-oriented, and passionate individual who is proud of what I have accomplished and I am excited to see where the road will lead next.
The road I took was not straight and was more difficult than I had imagined. What I have learned and experienced up to this point is nothing short of amazing and I await to see what the future holds.
This is my portfolio website to showcase my abilities through the experiences and work I have completed over the last four years.
